Fabien and Lisa met in Herrang, Sweden in 2010 and have been teaching and dancing together ever since. Coming from different backgrounds they both bring their own particular expertise, talents, and enthusiasm to the partnership.
Fabien comes from France and has been teaching swing dancing since 2004, specializing in lindy hop and blues. His love of choreography has led to him choreographing a number of successful showcases performed at ILHC and other events, as well as the recent ‘French Connection’ Team that placed 2nd at ILHC and ESDC.
Lisa is a professional dancer from London, now living in France. Classically trained from the age of 6 she discovered her love for all styles of dance whilst studying for her degree in Theatre Dance at London Studio Centre. After leaving college she worked professionally in the commercial dance world. She then discovered and fell in love with lindy hop and blues and has immersed herself in all things swing ever since.
Together and separately they have competed and placed in many competitions. (3rd place in the pro showcase 2017 and winning 1st place in the open showcase at ILHC, 3rd place in the Classic Open at ILHC, 3rd place in showcase at Camp Hollywood in LA in 2016. They were also European Swing dance Champions in the slow lindy division in 2013, 2nd place in 2015 to name a few).
Their fun natured teaching style, yet ability to breakdown a movement, means their classes are a perfect mix for those wanting to progress their dancing.
Constantly pushing themselves in their own dancing means they understand the work that goes into becoming a better dancer and are passionate about sharing their experiences and helping others to achieve their goals.
At this year’s Broadway Swing, they will also teach a special class on Friday on Rhythm and Blues. You can book the extra class during the registration process. Don’t miss this special treat!

Read more about Grzegorz and Agnieszka …
Grzegorz and Agnieszka Cherubińscy are Warsaw siblings associated with swing dances from an early age, which gives them over 20 years on Polish and world dance floors. They are 7-times Polish Champions as well as European and Vice-World Champions in Boogie Woogie.
As dancers and international instructors of Boogie Woogie and Lindy Hop, they are now sharing their knowledge at festivals such as „Rock That Swing Festival“ (continuously since 2014), Moscow Xmas Dance Camp, Euro Dance Festival, as well as locally in Poland Silesia Swing Festival, Retro Weekend Festival and many others. In 2021, they founded their dance club „SwinG&Art“ in Warsaw where they run classes and manage a cafe and ice cream parlor.
As instructors, they focus on dialogue in couples, action and reaction, so that each dancer feels good in their body and skills. They can be demanding, but they always encounter students with a smile on their lips. During the classes they focus on supporting each dancer in the group and will explain even the most intricate questions. Their classes are a diverting mix of knowledge sharing and dry humor 😉

Gina has been spreading the joy of dancing for more than 8 years now. In her classes, she includes Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz, Charleston, Slow Drag, Blues, and tap dancing. She teaches weekly classes at the „Lindy Hop Saarbrücken Dance Academy.“ Moreover, she travels across Germany and internationally to countries such as France, Luxembourg, Spain, Greece, or Ireland to bring her love for rhythm and dance to others. Beside her work as a swing dance teacher, she performs with the theatre play „Swing Heil!“ which deals with the history of the Swing Youth in Germany during the Nazi regime.
Niklas is a recognized Lindy Hop dancer and instructor. From his early childhood on, his life is accompanied by music and dance. At only 13 years old he found his love for swing dances. From then on, he spent every free minute on the dance floors of international swing festivals together with his sister Jovanna. After high school he started teaching Lindy Hop. In his classes he focuses on the harmonious interplay of body, mind and spirit based on a natural rhythmical understanding. His talent is to let people feel the magic and natural flow of each movement and rhythm. Doing so his students can catch up very quickly with what he is showing them. Niklas loves to stay authentic with the roots of Lindy Hop of the Savoy era. Recently, he started to immerse himself in the poly-rhythmical world of African dances. His goal is to deeper understand the feeling and greatness of the roots of Lindy Hop. For him, Lindy Hop is more than a dance. It is a combination of love, truth and joy. It’s a lifelong learning possibility. Teaching internationally he already brought his dance to countries like Greece, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Ireland, USA, Thailand and all over Germany. No matter where he was teaching, he always inspired people with his understanding of the dance, his joyful nature and spirit.
