Swing is the music of the 30s and 40s when jazz was pop music, when movies where black and white and life was colourful. The Savoy Ballroom remains a symbol of the swing era as a place where people could come together, dance and celebrate – no matter where they came from.
On the road since 2012, the Savoy Satellites All Stars bring songs of Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman back to life with energetic rhythms that make any Lindy Hop lover dance with joy.

Every party needs a good DJ … we are honored to welcome back Jivin‘ Charlie from Italy to our parties on Friday and Saturday.
Jivin’Charlie has been DJing for dance venues and festivals since 2017, mainly selecting music between 1930 to 1950’s/1970’s for Lindy Hop, Balboa and Blues dancers.
He collaborates with several dance schools in northern Italy and with national and international teachers. His goal is to make everyone dance with his mixed and original selection of tunes.
On Saturday, Charlie will also show us some Shim Sham variations in a taster class before the Broadway Ball.
